With a broad educational background, Dr. Diamond received an undergraduate dual degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Maryland, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. After a one-year general practice residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his postgraduate degree in periodontics.
He was a clinical associate professor in both the undergraduate and postgraduate department of periodontics at the New York School of Dental Medicine, as well as an attending dentist at Mt. Sinai.
With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Diamond‘s achievements are vast. He was a board member for Bausch and Lomb, helped create the interprobe, and previously was a director of the New York Dental Forum.
In addition, he has published numerous abstracts in the Journal of Periodontics, has lectured both locally and nationally for various dental organizations, and has made numerous television appearances.
Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Diamond is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society.
