Raised in Coppell, Dr. Khavari is a board-certified podiatrist who is currently serving patients at her private practice – Carrollton Foot Center – located in Carrollton, Texas. It is a full-service foot and ankle podiatry care center where pediatric foot care, sports medicine, and diabetic foot care are just a few of the specialties practiced. 

committed to understanding the patient and their individual needs, Dr. Khavari finds patient education of utmost importance when it comes to treating pedal issues. She is aware that each foot or ankle injury has not only a medical implication but social and lifestyle implications as well.  

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Khavari completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology with honors from the University of Texas at Dallas. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. She was awarded an outstanding student scholarship by the American Podiatric Medical Association in 2010.

As for her training, Dr. Khavari completed three years of extensive surgical training in foot and ankle surgery where she served as chief resident at the prestigious Kern Podiatry Residency Program at Michigan Surgical Hospital in Warren, Michigan. During her residency, she had the privilege of working at Detroit’s VA hospital where she was exposed to multiple complex foot and ankle conditions, as well as trauma surgery. Her training encompassed all aspects of podiatry, including pediatric foot care, wound prevention, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions, sports medicine, trauma management, as well as reconstruction of complex foot and ankle deformities.  

A Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine, the doctor is board-certified in podiatry by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). The ABPM offers a comprehensive board qualification and certification process in podiatric medicine and orthopedics. Board certification provides the assurance to both the public and health professionals that the highest level of achievement has been attained in the specialty area.

Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Khavari is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, the American Association of Women Podiatrists, and the Institute for Podiatric Excellence and Development.
