Dr. Azzue, a board-certified optometrist, is dedicated to delivering top-notch eye care services for the whole family at his private practice - Azzue Optometry - in New Port Richey, Florida. With a specialization in family vision, contact lenses, and co-management of LASIK and cataract surgery, he is a trusted professional in the field.

A native of upstate New York, he made Florida his home in 1987. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology from St. Leo University and pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in South Florida. Graduating with honors from the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, he honed his skills during his externship at Bay Pines VA in St. Petersburg, Florida. Since 1995, he has been serving the community of New Port Richey with dedication and compassion.

One of Dr. Azzue's key strengths lies in his ability to diagnose and treat conditions such as glaucoma and ocular disease, offering patients peace of mind and expert care for their eye health. Additionally, he prides himself on being available 24 hours a day for ocular emergencies, ensuring that his patients receive prompt attention and care when needed most.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Azzue is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Florida Optometric Association, where he has held leadership roles such as past president of the local chapter Central Suncoast Optometric Physicians. His commitment to community service extends to his involvement with Rotary International, where he generously donates his time and expertise to help those in need through The Good Samaritan Medical Clinic.
