Brian D. Burke, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and brings nearly two decades of level 2 trauma training and orthopedic surgery experience to b2orthopedics.

Dr. Burke earned his M.D. in his childhood home state at West Virginia University. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Florida, which boasts one of the top orthopedic programs in the country (as well as Dr. Burke’s favorite NCAA football team).

As the Director of Joint Replacement for Bayfront Medical Center, Dr. Burke spearheaded the hospital’s accreditation as a Joint Center of Excellence in 2010. He is a frequent lecturer in the community sharing his knowledge and expertise on the latest advances in his field, including direct anterior approach for total hip replacement, and nonsurgical PRP and Stem Cell injection therapies. As gene therapy and stem cell regeneration technologies evolve, Dr. Burke is fully equipped to offer his patients state-of-the-art treatments for orthopedic conditions that traditionally would have required surgery.
