Following the completion of her medical degree at Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College in India in 1992, Dr. Bansal relocated to the United States in order to pursue her training. She performed her residency in internal medicine at University Medical Center. 

With over three decades of experience in her field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
