Does Invisalign make your breath smell?
In general, Invisalign aligners themselves do not cause bad breath. However, improper oral hygiene or not cleaning your aligners regularly can lead to the buildup of bacteria which can contribute to bad breath. It's important to always brush and floss your teeth properly and clean your aligners using the instructions provided in the Invisalign care kit should you have Invisalign. READ MORE

How long after dentures can I eat solid food?
This varies depending on individual circumstances. Generally it takes some time for your mouth to adjust to dentures and if you had teeth taken out on the same day you received your dentures, it is best to start with a soft diet as your gums are healing. Overtime you can work your way back to a normal diet as you become more comfortable with your dentures and in the case of having teeth removed, give yourself some time to heal at least a week, but this could be longer in individual cases and circumstances. Root canal treatment
I see that your are taking Paracetamol, which is used to treat mild to moderate pain. If you do not have any known drug allergies or health issues that restrict you from taking Ibuprofen, you can take other the counter Ibuprofen/Motrin until you can get in to see your dentist. Minor discomfort after any surgical procedure is normal, as teeth are a part of your body and a root canal is a surgical procedure. However, I would advise you to call your dentist office to let them know that you are having jaw and neck pain and find out if they can see you sooner. All the best, Dr. Atkins READ MORE

Get to know Dentist Dr. Cherie Atkins, who serves patients in Roswell, Georgia.
Dr. Atkins, affectionately known as Dr. A, is the lead dentist at Flamingo Dental Escape in Roswell, Georgia, which she established in 2023.
She and her team are committed to exceeding patients’ expectations with top-notch dental care and exemplary personal service in a relaxing atmosphere. They want each visit to create an enjoyable memory with the help of beautiful decor, warm neck pillows, warm blankets, aromatherapy, and Relax VR eyewear.
At Flamingo Dental Escape, Dr. A’s vision is to create a dental office where it is more than an appointment, it is an experience to be the Disney of dentistry. Entering Disney World one can easily forget about the world beyond what’s around them – it’s an escape from reality. Dr. A chose the name Flamingo Dental Escape because flamingos appear elegant and stand out from the crowd. Flamingos can even bring on thoughts of the Bahamas and Florida, which are both great escapes from reality.
Striving to help alleviate the anxiety that sometimes comes along with going to the dentist, Dr. A believes the name alone, Flamingo Dental Escape, helps with that. Genuine concern for each patient and their oral health, along with meticulous attention to detail, make for a dental experience like no other.
Academically, Dr. A graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University in 2002, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2007. She then went on to perform a General Practice Residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in 2008.
As a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. A can provide the complete esthetic make over, from veneers to botox and facial fillers, believing that a beautiful smile is more than just teeth.
