  • Can you floss between a bridge?

    Hello While you cannot actually pass floss through the teeth in the middle of a bridge, there are plenty of devices that you can use to floss underneath it. And, of course, you can floss through the front and back teeth of the bridge. As for the devices, there are floss threaders and so called "super-floss," that allow you to pull floss underneath the bridge. These are inexpensive, but may take some time to learn how to use them effectively. There are also, special brushes called "proxabrushes," that loos like small bottle brushes. These allow you to brush under your bridge. And, finally I strongly recommend the use of a sonic tooth brush. Recently, Waterpik has introduced the "Sonic Fusion" tooth brush which combines the sonic brush with a spray of water that shoots underneath the bridge.
