After earning her medical degree from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, India, Dr. Bhatt relocated to the United States. Wanting to further her education, she completed her training at hospitals affiliated with the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, with some time spent at the world renowned Sloan Kettering Medical Center. After her intense training, she began her practice in New Jersey with the Veterans Administration and quickly rose to the rank of Lead Physician at the outpatient center before going into private practice.
The doctor’s accolades include the prestigious Oak Leaf Award, bestowed by the Veterans Administration for Outstanding Excellence in Patient Care. That was quickly followed by a Congressional Letter of Commendation by Congressman William Pascrell. Most importantly, her daily award is the smile on her patients’ faces.
