Get to know Dentist Dr. Dan H. Rathgeber, who serves patients in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Rathgeber has practiced dentistry for more than 45 years and has enjoyed every minute. As technology and materials improved, so has dental care. He truly enjoys studying the science of what really works, and more importantly, what doesn’t.
For the last few years, patients have asked him when he was going to retire. His response has always been, “as long as I enjoy it and as long as I can perform at an excellent level, I will continue”.
While he is not retiring, Dr. Rathgeber has merged his practice with Drs. Jeffrey M. Sindelar and Christopher J Guilfoy of Oakville Dental Care in St. Louis, Missouri. Drs. Sindelar and Guilfoy each spend one day a week treating and meeting as many patients as possible while Dr. Rathgeber is still practicing.
Everything else has remained the same. Same office, same hours, same location, and the same staff. They use the same materials and refer to the same specialists Dr. Rathgeber has recommended to patients for years. He continues to practice with them those two days and solo the other two days each week.
“At Oakville Dental Care, we look at dentistry differently. We look at every patient as an individual, learn your wishes and wants for your teeth, and help to guide you to your goal. It is our passion to provide healthier smiles in a comforting environment for the entire family.
We accomplish this by investing in the newest technologies, a well-trained team, and a positive office setting. Most importantly, we value the relationships and friendships fostered with our patients in order to maintain your everlasting smile!” as stated on the dental practice’s website.
A dental graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Dr. Rathgeber has trained with some of the world’s most prominent family dental specialists, and is well known as St Louis’s leading dentist for people who want family dentistry.
With an ongoing commitment to dental health, he remains an active member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
