As an expert in his field, Dr. Ash also serves as a Civil Surgeon with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
After graduating from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1991, he went on to earn his medical degree at MeHarry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1996. After completing medical school, he attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where he focused on family practice and OB-GYN.
A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association, the doctor is certified by the FMCSA to perform DOT physical exams.
