Dr. Cooper is a pediatrician serving Duluth and the surrounding communities. He is associated with Cooper Pediatrics and offers pediatric care ranging from immunizations, sight and hearing screens, sick visits, minor injury treatment, and consultations/evaluations.  

Dr. Cooper received his Medical Degree (MD) from Emory University School of Medicine in 1988 and then went on to complete a residency in pediatrics at the same location.

Dr. Cooper is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American College of Pediatrics (ACOP). The ACOP is a national organization of pediatricians dedicated to the health and well-being of children.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Cooper diagnoses and treats infections, injuries, diseases and other disorders in children. Pediatricians typically work with infants, children, teenagers and young adults up to age 21. They practice medical care as well as preventative health care.

With over 24 years of experience in the field, Dr. Cooper has been recognized and awarded with a “Patient’s Choice Award” in 2008 by Vitals, The Nicholas E. Davies Award for Excellence in Primary Care by HIMSS in 2004, and the Emory University School of Medicine Exellence in Pediatric Teaching Award in 2017.
