Get to know Dentist and Sleep Wellness Doctor Dr. Anshu Bansal, who serves patients in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas areas. 

Dedicated to the fields of dentistry and sleep apnea treatment, Dr. Bansal serves as the Owner and Operator of Sleep & Oral Wellness in Gun Barrel City, Texas. 

What distinguishes Dr. Bansal is her role as an integrative health dentist, approaching health with a holistic perspective that goes beyond traditional dental and sleep wellness practices. In her comprehensive approach, she delves into areas such as trauma, diet, exercise, movement, and various data points to craft personalized plans for her patients, aiming to enhance their overall health and well-being.

Under the guidance of Dr. McFadden, a former faculty professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center and the owner of the McFadden Dental Implant Center in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Bansal skillfully places dental implants. 

Beyond implant procedures, her private practice provides a diverse range of dental services catering to adults, children, and special needs patients. These specialized services encompass crowns, bridges, veneers, partials, complete dentures, in-office whitening, and at-home bleaching.

Dr. Bansal’s commitment extends to addressing sleep apnea issues, incorporating education on lifestyle coaching and reinforcing nasal breathing patterns to help patients achieve their goals. She proudly collaborates with the Geriatric House Call Dentistry network, making house calls to patients who are homebound or residing in nursing care facilities.

Academically, Dr. Bansal received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2014. Her initial years after graduation were spent learning and adapting from a fast paced clinical environment, working as a team and a leader for the practice. She became certified in Invisalign in 2017 and received a Certificate of Excellence in Special Needs Care. 

Driven by her fascination with sleep apnea, Dr. Bansal pursued mastery-level courses at the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) in November 2018, graduating as a Diplomate in October 2020. Her dedication continued with the completion of the TMJ and Pain Management Mini Residency offered by Dr. Okeson in June 2021.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

In 2023, Dr. Bansal was honored with the prestigious City’s Best Award, bestowed upon a single business in each major city across the United States, recognizing outstanding quality, service, and overall excellence.

Outside of her office, Dr. Bansal has actively engaged in outreach and volunteer services for medical centers in Texas and beyond its borders. Presently, she extends her compassionate care to special needs adults through her involvement with Special Care Dentistry in Farmers Branch, Texas.
