Get to know Dentist Dr. Robert Archer Jr., who serves patients in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

A beloved dentist in the Lebanon and Mount Juliet community for more than 50 years, Dr. Archer Jr. sees patients at Southeastern Dental Group. He offers dental services such as CEREC one-day crowns, restorative dental care, hygiene care, general dental care, cosmetic dental care, and appliances. 

In order to continue providing his patients with the best possible care, he remains a member of several professional dental organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the Nashville Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association.

A Virginia native, Dr. Archer Jr. was raised in Chattanooga. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dedicated to continuing education, he completes several advanced education courses every year, which focus on state-of-the-art aesthetic and restorative techniques. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Voted a Top Dentist by his peers, Dr. Archer Jr. enjoys relaxing on the water with plenty of fishing and boating when he is not working. Happily married for almost three decades, he and his wife, Susan, have five children.
