Get to know Dentist Dr. Tannaz Maryam Shirazi, who serves patients in Altoona, Iowa.

Specializing in general dentistry, Dr. Shirazi is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Altoona Dental in Altoona, Iowa. There, she and Dr. Chris J. Hlas, DDS, remain dedicated to providing patients and their families with the highest quality of dental care, while keeping their comfort as a top priority. The husband-wife duo offer a wide range of dental solutions for oral health care needs, including effective preventive care, Invisalign® straightening, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ/TMD therapy, sleep apnea therapy, as well as routine care. They welcome new patients of all ages to their family-owned and -operated dental practice.

A member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of Gp Orthodontics, Dr. Shirazi remains active in many leading dental organizations. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa and since then, she has been regularly giving back to the Altoona community through programs such as Donated Dental Services, which provides quality dental care to underprivileged people within the local area.
