Recognized as a caring and compassionate family physician, Dr. Gattuso has a career devoted to taking care of the elderly by providing physical and emotional care. He founded Companion Care of Maryland in Hereford in order to assist his patients and new clients fulfill a desire to stay at home.
Additionally, he can be found on staff at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), a 342-bed medical center (acute and sub-acute care) located on a beautiful suburban campus in Monkton, Maryland. Since its founding in 1965, GBMC HealthCare’s accomplishments have validated the vision of GBMC’s founders to combine the best of community and university-level medicine.
In regards to his educational background, Dr. Gattuso earned his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados in 1985. He then went on to complete his residency in family medicine at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore.
Following his training, he became board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
