What do you attribute your success to?
- Dr. Chapin graduated from Cornell University in 1980 with a degree in Biology and worked as a bovine geneticist for several years. A family member was in ICU for an extended period of time and when he saw what the doctors did to help, he decided to go to medical school and become a physician himself. Because he did start medical school in his 30s, he knew early in his medical career the importance of speaking to his patients in a language they could understand. Dr. Chapin works hard to communicate with patients so he provides the best care and that they comprehend their conditions and treatments.
