Get to know Oculoplastic Surgeon Dr. Catherine Cuite, who serves patients in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Cuite is an oculoplastic surgeon whose specialty includes cosmetic and reconstructive oculofacial plastic surgery. She particularly enjoys working with cosmetic injections such as BOTOX, Dysport, and other cosmetic fillers. She is also skilled in eyebrow lifts, lid lifts, eyelid surgery, and blepharoplasty. Her special commitment is to enhancing features so that her patients always retain a natural look.

Academically, Dr. Cuite graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Harvard University and earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her internship at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University, where she was awarded the Resident of the Year Award, before completing her residency in ophthalmology at the Casey Eye Institute of Oregon Health Sciences University, and her fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute.

An active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.

Oculofacial plastics is a specialized form of surgery that focuses on aesthetic and reconstructive aspects of the face, eyelids, brows, orbital bones, tear duct system, and nose. There are only about 800 U.S. physicians that specialize in this field.

Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Cuite has been the recipient of the Top Doctor Award by Charlotte Magazine in 2021.
