Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Meena Rawal, who serves patients in Canton, Ohio.

Dr. Rawal is a board-certified pediatrician who has been caring for the children at The Pediatric Center of Canton since 2007. Her proficiency and experience ensures that each child gets the best care possible.

At The Pediatric Center of Canton, even the smallest members of the family are treated. From infancy to 18, the providers offer examination, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing wellness for children. 

Following the completion of her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine of Ohio University in 2003, Dr. Rawal went on to further her training. She performed her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in 2006 and 2007, respectively. 

Specializing in the health care of children, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (AOBP). The AOBP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases in infants, children, and adolescents.

Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, Dr. Rawal is affiliated with Mercy Medical Center – Canton, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Aultman Hospital, and Affinity Medical Center.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

Among Dr. Rawal’s most notable achievements include Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2015), On-Time Doctor Award (2015, 2016, 2017), and Patients’ Choice Award (2016, 2017).
