Get to know Radiologist Dr. George A. Stanley, who serves patients throughout the State of Florida.
A Florida-based radiologist, Dr. Stanley works with patients at his private practice - University Diagnostic Institute (UDI) - serving patients in the Winter Park, Longwood, and Orlando areas. His focus is always on the patient and the referring physician’s needs.
Over two decades ago, the doctor had the vision to establish an outpatient radiology center that would operate like an independent doctor’s office more than an impersonal clinic. Access and interaction are key factors in delivering this vision which has resulted in long-lasting relationships with many referring physicians and patients alike. The company mission is to provide the highest level of medical care to their patients, in a respectful, empathetic, and congenial manner.
“If we just understand that we need to “always be here” for our patients and referring physicians, then we can’t go wrong. Delivering high-quality diagnostic images in a warm friendly environment is the simple recipe for our success, and why we are UDI” expressed Dr. Stanley.
Graduating with his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1987, he went on to complete his internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of South Florida in 1991.
An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
Radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. A radiologist is a physician who uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients and provide therapeutic options.
