Get to know Acupuncturist Yaelle E. Shapir, who serves patients in West Hollywood, California.
Yaelle E. Shaphir, L.Ac., Dipl.OM (NCCAOM) is a Nationally Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist & Reiki Master III. She is currently serving patients at her West Hollywood office, where she combines B.R.T. (Body Restoration Technique), N.A.E.T. (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique), Reiki, and Aromatherapy using Certified Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils, with her Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M.) Acupuncture Wellness sessions.
Yaelle’s philosophy states: “We are born without an attached owner’s manual! The physical body is your vehicle in this lifetime. That vehicle must be maintained. Each individual’s vehicle is unique. Every person must find their own Truth. What technologies & practices aid or maintain your vehicle? The knowledge exists. Discover it and be transformed! What may work for one being may not for another. Within the realms of healing – acupuncture, herbal therapy, homeopathy, N.A.E.T., B.R.T., bio-magnetic rebalancing, aromatherapy, Reiki, etc. Each person must find his/her Truth. Within that truth is the key to health-full living and well-being. Enjoy the Journey!”
Yaelle graduated from Vassar College in 1995, with a B.A. in Economics. She was drafted into the I.D.F. (Israel Defense Force), where she worked as a Physical Trainer, instructing soldiers and monitoring their health and fitness. She also instructed the Druze Soldiers in Arad. Upon returning to the United States, Yaelle enrolled at Emperor’s College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM) in 2000.
Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body. It is a key component of traditional Chinese medicine. As an acupuncturist, Yaelle consults with patients of all ages about their symptoms in order to diagnose the issue and treat it using acupuncture needles and other tools. Her main objectives are disease prevention and immune enhancement.
Yaelle conducts DIY De-Stressing Workshops and programs for individuals, businesses and corporations. Furthermore, she is an accomplished GongMaster Journeywoman and utilizes the Gong for Sound Healing, private and public events, and group meditations.
Yaelle aka ACUMOM and ACUMOMMA, is her blog about family, wellness, and the pursuit of zen amidst the chaos of Los Angeles and raising 3 children, with her husband and their cat named Sami.
