Dr. Gequillana, also known as ‘Dr. G’, is a skilled dentist who specializes in overall dental health for the whole family. He is the owner & operator of G Dental, LLC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In practice since June of 2007, the trusted doctor and his team continue to serve all patients of varying age groups and medical conditions with convenient hours and many insurance plans accepted. Their goal is to provide precise, efficient, cosmetic, and cost effective dental care while implementing state-of-the-art technology to diagnose and treat.
Born and raised in Guam, Dr. G came to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree and boarded in Medical Technology. He continued to the Marquette University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996. He proceeded on to Brooklyn, New York and received his Certificate in General Practice Residency, which was then followed by an internship in oral surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then moved to Guam and practiced with a public health clinic that focused on children before returning to Wisconsin to open G Dental, LLC.
With a focus to marry the medical and dental aspects of oral health, Dr. G aims to help achieve catered care for individual patients. He has the advanced training to treat patients with more compromised and involved medical histories. He also promotes thorough evaluation of the head and neck in an effort to detect any abnormalities and asymmetries.
In his current capacity, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Marquette University School of Dentistry in the Advanced Care Clinic. He also works with giving dental clearance for patients who will require heart, liver, or lung transplants and helps in treating mentally and physically compromised patients in the operating room. Dr. G is currently on staff at Aurora St Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee and treats patients there.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
On a more personal note, Dr. G is married to Jen and they have a son, Nicholas. He is an avid runner and a passionate musician.
