Get to know Ophthalmologist Dr. Gregory L. Hayden, who serves the population of Kentucky. Dr. Hayden is an exceptionally experienced ophthalmologist with a vast expertise in cataract and LASIK surgery. Dr. Hayden has been practicing for more than fifteen years and is currently serving patients at HaydenVision at their two locations in Evansville, Indiana, and Henderson, Kentucky. He is also on staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Deaconess Hospital, St. Mary’s Warrick Hospital, Gibson General Hospital, Crossroads Community Hospital, and Methodist Hospital. Dr. Hayden received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1993. He then interned in transitional medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and served his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Hayden is certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and also holds multiple refractive surgery certifications. He remains at the forefront of a challenging industry as a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Hayden was honored with multiple awards over the years, including 2011 Readers’ Choice Award winner for Best LASIK Surgeon & LASIK Facility, 2011 Patients’ Choice Award winner for Best LASIK & Cataract Surgeon, 2011 Patients’ Choice Award winner for Compassionate Doctor Certification, 2013 Consumer Research Council of America’s Top Ophthalmologist Award, and 2013 Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
