Get to know Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Raymond M. Wolfe, who serves patients in Pennsylvania. 

Named a ‘Top Doctor’ in orthopaedics by Main Line Today and Philadelphia magazines, Dr. Wolfe is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon whose specialities include arthroscopy, hip and joint replacement, sports medicine, as well as knee, shoulder & elbow injuries. He is in practice with Premier Orthopaedics, seeing patients at the offices in Media and Glen Mills, Pennsylvania & Wilmington, Delaware.

A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Wolfe went on to serve his internship at District of Columbia General Hospital, followed by his residency in orthopaedics at Georgetown University Medical Center.

A member of the American College of Surgeons and the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, he is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons.

Orthopaedic surgery is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic surgeons use both surgical and non-surgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
