Could be totally normal. Size can vary depending on the origin of the lesion. Follow up with your doctor or the radiologist who did the scan as to their interpretation as to what the lesion is likely to be and of course the seriousness of what they are seeing and what they would propose for follow up. Could be you are developing an ulcer, but more likely coming from the change in position as your uterus increases in size, causing it to shift in location and sometimes causing problems with acid release and digestion. You are probably in the peri menopause and should see you GYN for a blood test of your hormone level to make an exact determination as to where you currently stand and what treatment options may be available to you. What causes discharge around the clitoris?
Usually, it is a thick cottage cheese like discharge that is also very grainy to the touch. Likely to be yeast, and common hiding place is under the clitoral hood. Usually, it recurs from incomplete cleaning and treatment of the original problem. Best to have someone else retract the clitoral and manually clean underneath with clean tepid water or irrigate the area with a ear syringe until no residual remains. Then treat the area with either a OTC Monistat cream or a Rx from your gynecologist for 7-10 days. Then re-examine the area. Keep the area cool. So, avoid tight clothing like jeans and Lycra workout close and thong panties. Wash all workout clothes after each use as may cause decontamination. If it continues to recur, have your doctor check your blood sugars for diabetes and reassess your lifestyle eating and drinking habits such as intake of soft drinks and wine, etc., and always seek expert care from your Gyn. Do ovarian cysts cause any odors?

Why would a period suddenly last long?

Vaginal pain could be caused by any number of things from birth control pills causing some dryness to trauma from sex. Try using something like OTC Luvena in your vagina three times a week at bedtime and refrain from sex for 2 weeks and see if it does not resolve. How old should I start taking my daughter to the OB-GYN?
This is what I recommend to my mothers: -I recommend at 16 that she be introduced to a Gyn for a pre-school physical or in the summer. -I discuss female issues with the girl as an icebreaker, then do a general physical and breast exam and teach BSE to her. -I do not do a pelvic exam unless there are Gyn issues, and even then, many times, I bring her back rather than spring that upon her at an initial visit and she has had some time to digest some of the things we have talked about. -By the following summer and pre-college, she is much more mature and ready to make her own decisions and thus another discussion about birth control issues and to give her an avenue to call from college should she gave any issues. -I give the girl the option if she desires her mother to be present for any of the discussions or examinations. -I also assure her that our conversations are totally common confidential in the presence of her mother Rob Muller READ MORE
