Typically, you can eat after about 1 hour from having your new crown placed. We typically advise our patients to not chew for approximately 1 hour after the new crown has been placed, but after that, they should be able to treat that crown like a normal tooth. READ MORE

Typically, it is advisable not to chew directly on the site where the implant was placed, especially foods that are dense in nature such as pizza crust. Receiving 4 dental implants in once visit should not be an issue as long as there are no health concerns such as uncontrolled diabetes and that you do not have any chronic oral conditions such as periodontitis. Depending on how extensive the implant surgery was, such as number of implants and additional procedures surrounding the implant surgery. There are many factors that determine the time it takes for the implant to "fuse" to the bone. Typically it is around 3-4 months, but can take longer when there has been grafted bone or when bone was grafted during the implant surgery.
