It is unsafe to try to align your spine yourself. It is my opinion that doing core strengthening exercises over a period of time would be safer to stabilize the spine and improve your posture. Only a trained professional should align your spine. READ MORE
What do chiropractors do to treat back pain?
I perform a physical exam to determine the cause of the back pain. Then, I determine a treatment plan based on the diagnosis. If the cause is spinal misalignments, I perform spinal manipulation to the joints of the back involved. READ MORE
What happens when a chiropractor adjusts your back?
There are different techniques of adjustments. If we perform manual manipulation, the patient will feel a “pop” in the joint, which is called cavitation, which is actually nitrogen gas escaping the joint capsule as the joint aligns. READ MORE
