Get to know Family Physician Dr. Faryaal Aamir, who serves patients in Boonville, Indiana.

A determined family physician, Dr. Aamir sees patients at Deaconess Clinic – Boonville.

Deaconess Clinic is the largest medical group in the region with more than 260 physicians and advanced level practitioners in 30 locations providing a wide variety of health services. It was formed in October 2008 with the merger of Welborn Clinic and Deaconess Medical Group.  Since then, they have grown rapidly, continuing their efforts to meet the needs of their patients and their communities by adding physicians in a variety of specialties and locations.

A native of Pakistan, Dr. Aamir graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the Rawalpindi Medical College in 2007. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in family medicine at Baptist Health – Deaconess Madisonville in 2013.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
