A reputable interventional cardiologist, Dr. Grullon is affiliated with multiple hospitals in Florida, including Central Florida Regional Hospital and Oviedo Medical Center. He specializes in the areas of interventional cardiology, nuclear medicine, cardiothoracic imaging, and non-invasive cardiology. 

Central Florida Regional Hospital is a full-service, level II trauma center specializing in heart care and rehabilitation in the Orlando/Sanford area. It is committed to the care and improvement of human life.

The campus at Oviedo Medical Center includes a 64-bed hospital, 22-bed emergency department, and adjacent medical office building. With a solid educational background, Dr. Grullon graduated with his medical degree from the Central University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 1984. He then went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at Ascension Providence Hospital and Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in interventional cardiology at Henry Ford Hospital. In 2018, he completed his TAVR training at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

The doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Grullon is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).

With over four decades of experience, Dr. Grullon is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2015, 2017, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2015, 2017, 2018), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2015, 2017, 2018).

On a more personal note, he speaks English and Spanish fluently.
