Back in 1983, Dr. Sharma graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from G.S.V.M. Medical College,Kanpur in India. Upon relocating to the United States, he performed his residency in psychiatry at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minnesota in 2011.
Following his training, he attained board certification in psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
