Being a board-certified family physician, Dr. Ramiro offers comprehensive care for the whole family, with a special interest in pediatrics, musculoskeletal disorders, and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes. He can be found on staff at Franciscan Medical Clinic – Federal Way in Washington, which is a part of CHI Franciscan.

Growing up among family members with chronic medical conditions, Dr. Ramiro was drawn to medicine. He understands the importance of developing strong, trusted relationships with his patients and working together to solve problems and maximize wellness.

A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the King County Medical Society, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. 

After earning his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines in 1999, Dr. Ramiro went on to complete his residency at the same educational venue. Wanting to further his training, he relocated to the United States to complete an additional residency in family medicine at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.  Dr. Ramiro served as chief resident in his senior year of his residency.

Dr. Ramiro is committed to providing quality health care education.  He is an active preceptor among numerous nurse practitioner programs.  He is affiliated with Washington State University and Simmons University Nursing program.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor.
