Since 1995, Obstetrix Medical Group of Texas has been providing high quality, specialized care to pregnant women by educating, counseling, and managing complicated pregnancies to maximize maternal and fetal health. The group of maternal-fetal specialists, sometimes called perinatologists or high-risk obstetricians, provide care in the Fort Worth, Tarrant County Metroplex and surrounding areas as far north as Oklahoma; west to San Angelo and Abilene and south to Waco. 

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey,  Dr. Anderson is also affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in her local area, including Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth (where she is currently the Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology), Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance, and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Christian University (TCU) & the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center (UNTHSC) School of Medicine.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Anderson is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology & maternal-fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. 

Before embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Anderson earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2003. She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Morehouse School of Medicine in 2007, followed by her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2010.

Maternal-fetal medicine, also known as perinatology, is a branch of medicine that focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy. Also called a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, a perinatologist is an obstetrician with special training in high-risk pregnancy care.
