Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractic orthopedist treats musculoskeletal injuries in a non-surgical manner and provides non-surgical treatment options such as manual medicine, massage, ultrasound, electrical muscle therapy, diathermy, exercise programs and more for relief of joint, nerve, and muscle pain in necks, backs, knees, elbows, wrists, and other joints.
An active member of the chiropractic professional community, Dr. Ottomeyer was honored with the peer-awarded status of “Chiropractor of the Year” in 1997.
