Hickory Health Clinic takes a conservative approach to musculoskeletal injury and pain. Then, the best treatment approach for each patient is developed. The goal is to restore physical movement and function to manage and even prevent chronic health conditions.

He also serves as Chief of Staff at Lakes Area Health Center, which is proud to offer an array of services to assist patients in living the life they desire.
Back in 1981, he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic. With nearly 40 years of clinical experience, he has developed an extensive network of provider specialists and has pioneered a transition from individual specialty care into transdisciplinary team-based care.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractic orthopedist treats musculoskeletal injuries in a non-surgical manner and provides non-surgical treatment options such as manual medicine, massage, ultrasound, electrical muscle therapy, diathermy, exercise programs and more for relief of joint, nerve, and muscle pain in necks, backs, knees, elbows, wrists, and other joints.
An active member of the chiropractic professional community, Dr. Ottomeyer was honored with the peer-awarded status of “Chiropractor of the Year” in 1997.
In his free time, he enjoys playing drums and guitar with his local band. He is married and has two children.
