Dr. Asztalos is a board-certified dermatologist with a specialized interest in pediatric, adult, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is affiliated with the Center for Dermatology & Plastic Surgery, seeing patients in the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas.

The doctor strives to address all the skin concerns her patients present; from medical, to surgical, to cosmetic. She treats many medical skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema as well as preventative skin cancer screenings and surgical procedures to treat skin cancers and other benign skin growths. Additionally, she performs cosmetic procedures such as filler, Botox, laser, sclerotherapy, chemical peels, TCA cross and subcision.

A native of Romania, she immigrated to Arizona as a child. She attended the University of Arizona for both undergraduate and medical school. She graduated summa cum laude with a major in physiology and minors in chemistry and French, and was granted membership into Phi Beta Kappa. She was active in medical school as president of the American Medical Student Association and graduated among the top of her class in 2011.

Subsequently, she completed her residency in dermatology at Loyola University, and her residency in pediatrics at the St. Christopher Hospital for Children. She completed two additional years of training as a clinical research fellow at Northwestern University with a focus in pediatric dermatology.

An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Asztalos is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatologic Society and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She also serves on the editorial board for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, with a focus on social media.

In her professional experience, she began her career as the solo Dermatologist at Aurora Healthcare in Lake Geneva where she served as a clinician and active educator. She worked with medical students and resident physicians and trained them in dermatology. She has published research in several top peer-reviewed journals and authored several book chapters. She has also given many oral presentations at the American Academy of Dermatology and World Congress of Dermatology meetings.
