This depends on many factors, especially how much colon was removed and what part of it. In general, Imodium or loperamide can help. Several other medications are available but their use is based on the specific cause of diarrhea in this setting. READ MORE

There are several possible causes for bloating but the most common is carbohydrate malabsorption, so to help reduce bloating then you need to lower carbohydrates in your diet. Try the low FODMAP diet. READ MORE

There is no good answer to this. Food does not cause gastritis and most gastritis does not cause pain or other symptoms unless it is acute. Most discomfort from eating food is the result of stomach hypersensitivity (dyspepsia), or food intolerance, and has nothing to do with any gastritis that might be found incidentally. READ MORE
