Board Certified MD Offers Advanced Family Medicine Services in Charlotte, North Carolina

Dr. Emily Cooper, a highly skilled and experienced family physician, was most recently part of the team of healthcare providers at Atrium Health Biddle Point. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages.

At Atrium Health Biddle Point, Dr. Cooper served as Medical Director and provided comprehensive healthcare services that catered to the unique needs of underserved and underinsured populations. Patients can trust in her expertise to guide them through every stage of life, offering continuity of care and a patient-centered approach that prioritizes their health and wellness.  She takes this wealth of knowledge and experience to the broader community with plans to open her own primary care office, Dominion Health Family Wellness Center, this fall.

Dr. Cooper graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2006 and completed her internship and residency in family medicine at Carolinas Medical Center. Her dedication to the field of family medicine is evident through her board certification and recognition as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Additionally, she holds the esteemed title of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

With a commitment to delivering personalized and evidence-based care, Dr. Cooper offers a full spectrum of family medicine services, from preventive care and routine check-ups to managing chronic conditions and addressing acute illnesses.
