Having been named a “Top Obstetrician and Gynecologist” multiple times, he has experience in all aspects of OB/GYN, from adolescent to menopause. He has been involved in normal and complicated medical issues in women’s health care, and has delivered more than 5,000 babies.
From the beginning, Dr. Kunda was determined to offer a wealth of services to women of all ages including routine gynecological and obstetric care, high-risk pregnancy consultation and treatment, infertility diagnosis, and incontinence treatment.
Very careful in deciding what aspects of care he offers his patients, he is the first in the area to offer Manual Myosure for removal of endometrial polyps in office.
Dr. Kunda went to Washington University in Saint Louis for college, the University of Missouri School of Medicine for medical school, and back to Washington University for his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. After practicing in Saint Louis for 7 years, he and his family moved to San Marcos.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
