Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Eva F. Kubiczek-Love, who serves patients in Ohio.

Dr. Kubiczek-Love is a board-certified pediatrician, who treats children and adolescents at Independence Family Health Center in Independence, Ohio. A part of Cleveland Clinic, Independence Family Health Center provides an Express Care Clinic for urgent care, as well as primary and specialty services.

Her interest in her current profession stems from her social advocacy, as well as her love for science and medicine. Among her many achievements, Dr. Kubiczek-Love is involved with a number of community projects and serves as a lecturer and an invited speaker at a variety of media outlets. She was also awarded “Best in Medicine” by the American Health Council in recognition of her achievements in the medical field.

In regards to her educational background, she completed her undergraduate degree, medical degree, and residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Following her residency, she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the University of Maryland, she subsequently spent seven years working in the Pediatric Emergency Room in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area before coming to the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Institute.

Moreover, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Founded in 1933, the ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certification is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. 

Reflecting on her career to date, Dr. Kubiczek-Love credits her success to always being proactive in her field. She is a member of a variety of professional organizations to continually extend her knowledge and reach, including the American Academy of Pediatrics – Ohio Chapter.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. As a pediatrician, Dr. Kubiczek-Love examines, diagnoses, and treats children of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. She understands that children change rapidly and they must be approached with an appreciation for their stage of physical and mental development. Her specialty interests include children with complex care needs, asthma, and adolescent care.

Looking to the future, Dr. Kubiczek-Love intends to focus on building child advocacy programs and publishing.
