She completed her internship at the Peninsula Hospital Center, and her residency in general surgery at the St. Barnabas Hospital.
Subsequently, she went on to complete her fellowship in cardiothoracic vascular surgery at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, her fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Alabama Medical Center, and her fellowship in endovascular surgery at Ohio University.
Prior to joining Advanced Surgical Associates, Dr. Cooper worked as a vascular surgeon at Western Arizona Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Arizona.
