Dr. Roberts, a reputable dentist, is the Owner & Operator of Magnolia Family Dental in Gainesville, Florida. She and her staff provide top-quality general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry services to people of all ages in the community.

“I am grateful to be able to do something for a living that makes people healthier and smile brighter. I love seeing our established patients, meeting new patients, and helping them love their smile! Working with all of the different patients we serve makes each day something to look forward to. I love hearing about what has been going on in their lives and those of their families. One of the most rewarding things I have the opportunity to do is to help patients with dental anxieties overcome their fears so they can get the treatment they have previously put off or ignored. I am honest with them, listen to their concerns and help them prioritize their dental needs to get them back on track. You can see a change begin to occur right away and they start to look forward to seeing us as much as we look forward to seeing them.” stated Dr. Roberts.

The Magnolia Family Dental team recognizes that going to the dentist can seem stressful and frightening, and they strive to change that. They make sure everyone feels at home in the practice’s private treatment rooms, which are equipped with television, back massagers, neck pillows, and blankets. It is important for each patient to receive the care they need and feel comfortable at every stage of the treatment process.

Following many years as a practicing dental hygienist at Santa Fe College, Dr. Roberts graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1996.

Through participation in continuing education courses, she is able to stay current on the latest technology and treatment methods in dentistry. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Alachua County Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics, and the American Association of Women Dentists.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

An active member of her church in Lake Butler, Dr. Roberts enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at the Acorn Dental Clinic and We Care program at Santa Fe College. She also donates to many worthwhile causes, including many schools in the surrounding areas, American Cancer Society, Stop Children’s Cancer, and Hospice of North Central Florida.

A lifelong resident of North Central Florida, she and her husband, Avery, have two children, Amber and Austen, and four grandchildren, Titus, Angelie, Ava, and Vera. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her family, travel, read and relax at the beach.
