  • Pregnancy!?

You need a sonogram to see where the pregnancy is. A concern would be a pregnancy in the Fallopian tube (ectopic) I have seen pts with a normal intra uterine pregnancy after tubal ligation. A sonogram should show the pregnancy between 5 & 6 weeks & to be sure it is in the right place. READ MORE

  • How do I get pregnant?

You might want to to take BBT charts 1st thing every morning to see when your temperature rises. Usually mid cycle in most unless ovulation is late. If it has been a year you might want to consult your physician. Some things I do Is HSG where you put dye through the tubes to be sure they are open. Check his semen analysis to check the count. PK test ( after intercourse test to see if the Sperm are getting to the cervix. There is some online help to chart temps & with others (Fertility Friend). Has offered help too. Usually after one year, I start doing some test if you are actively seeking pregnancy READ MORE

Ovulation can certainly be irregular if ovulating. That in itself may affect your breast desires feeding. Also, at 41yo, your risk for miscarriage is generally higher. How long will you be breast feeding? You need to be on prenatal vitamins firing this time also. I encourage breast feeding, but cycles may be more predictable if you were not & maybe could have a better plan for the progesterone. READ MORE

The Nexplanon is a progesterone method of birth control. It works well but cycles can either stop or become erratic. I would do a home pregnancy test to be sure.
