Get to know Internist Dr. Chidi Anukwuem, who serves patients in Irvington, New Jersey.

Dr. Anukwuem is a trusted and diligent internist serving the communities of Irvington and Old Bridge, New Jersey. Practicing as a part of LCT Medical, he sees patients for a range of general medical concerns, including hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, obesity, weight management, opioid abuse, and Suboxone®.

During his consultations, he gives each patient his focused attention and is deeply committed to their well-being. He takes the time to thoroughly explain his patients’ conditions and assist them in choosing a suitable treatment plan.

A native of Nigeria, Dr. Anukwuem received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Obafemi Awolowo University, and attended medical school at the Obafemi Awolowo University College of Health Sciences. He then relocated to the United States and completed his residency in internal medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. In addition, he is an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association.

An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
