Following the completion of her medical degree from Shandong University School of Medicine in 1983, Dr. Wei relocated to the United States to further her training. She completed her residency in internal medicine at NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn, followed by her fellowship in hematology-oncology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Subsequent to her education, the doctor earned board certification in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
