I am not only devoted to my patients but to my profession as well. With that in mind, I seek to make the practice of radiology as inclusive and diverse as possible. In collaboration with CHI St. Luke’s Health, he is affiliated with Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, Patients Medical Center, and Memorial Hospital. Alongside his clinical role, he serves as an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Baylor College of Medicine.
A 1976 graduate of the New York University Grossman School of Medicine, Dr. Strax went on to perform his internship in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. This was followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at UT Health Science Center at Houston in 1980.
Subsequent to his education, he attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
With four decades of experience, Dr. Strax is on the Board of Chancellors of the American College of Radiology, of which he is a Fellow. He is also a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
