Dr. Allison N Williams is CEO of Crofton Family Practice in Anne Arundel County. Established in the late 1960's Crofton Family Practice has been home to many fine physicians over the years. It's longest running owner, Ronald Sroka retired in 2018 and transferred the ownership to Dr Williams. With twenty years of experience including work in both outpatient and inpatient primary care settings, she has been able to transition the practice into the era of meaningful use and Aledade accountable care participation. She is well known for excellence in diagnostic skills, dynamic attention to preventative care, and abilities in standard office procedures of traditional family medicine. Her caring bedside manner continues to make her one of the most sought-after clinicians in the Crofton community and won her the highly-coveted invitation to become an MDVIP-affiliated provider for the year 2025 onwards. She is also a long time resident of Crofton, wife and mother who has dedicated her career to outpatient primary care. What do you attribute your success to?
- She attributes her success to her education and in her upbringing as she was raised by her mom whom was a dedicated teacher and when she was just 8 years old she would stay after class and study a book on human anatomy. She wanted to be a doctor at a very young age and was taught how to stay focused and never stop learning and growing towards achieving your career goals and dreams. She has been in the medical field for 20 years and became the first doctor in the family, and now is the CEO of her practice Crofton Family Practice and her mission statement is ,\"Thoughtful Care is Still A Tradition\" she has patients from ages 5 to 105 and loves taking care of her patients and will even make home visits within a 10 mile radius. She received the 2008 America\'s Top Family Doctor Award, 2018 Trademark Women of Distinction Honors Edition, 2021 Top Family Practice, and she enjoys reading the AMA Mayo Clinic Medical Journal and she can be found @ www.mdvip.com/alisonwilliamsmd

This compassionate approach reflects her belief that thoughtful care is still a tradition worth preserving.
Taking the helm from long-time owner Ronald Sroka, who retired in 2018, Dr. Williams has successfully transitioned Crofton Family Practice to meet the demands of modern healthcare. Under her leadership, the practice has embraced the era of meaningful use and become a participant in Aledade’s accountable care initiatives, further enhancing the quality of services offered to patients.
Dr. Williams’ educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in 1989, followed by earning her Medical Degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 2000. She completed her internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Maryland from 2000 to 2003 and has been serving as a preceptor in Outpatient Family Medicine at Trinity School of Medicine in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines since 2019, where she shapes the next generation of healthcare providers.
Dr. Williams, a Diplomate of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and a member of MedChi, the Maryland State Medical Society, is renowned for her exceptional diagnostic expertise and commitment to preventative care. Her skilled approach to traditional family medicine, coupled with her compassionate bedside manner, has made her one of the most highly regarded clinicians in the Crofton community. This reputation led to her selection as an MDVIP-affiliated provider starting in 2025.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Williams has received numerous prestigious accolades, including being named Best in Maryland Doctors 2024 and receiving the Certificate of Excellence for Most Engaged New Practice in Aledade Accountable Care (2022).
