WIth a diverse group of staff across three office locations in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn Heights, Gotham Gastroenterology offers comprehensive and highly specialized care in gastroenterology, hepatology, women’s gastrointestinal health, and nutritional services. They have expert skills in performing endoscopic procedures, which allow them to see the intestinal tract in great detail. This ensures optimal diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of digestive system diseases.
Providing the highest quality medical care and services, Dr. Kim is an attending physician at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital. He is also involved in the teaching of gastroenterology fellows as an Adjunct Instructor within the Department of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

Academically, Dr. Kim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine.
Furthering his training, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was selected as chief medical resident. He also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the same educational venue. He was the recipient of the prestigious John O. Vieta Award and also received the Department of Medicine Award for Academic Excellence.
Utilizing a patient-centered approach, the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
