Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Mohrokh A. Hedayati, who serves patients in Rockwall, Texas.

In practice since 1996, Dr. Hedayati is a board-certified pediatrician with North Pediatrics, a full service pediatric care facility in Rockwall, Texas.

North Pediatrics is dedicated to keeping kids safe from illness and helping them live a healthy lifestyle. The pediatricians are familiar with working specifically with children so they have the training and knowledge to handle almost any problem. 

Back in 1977, Dr. Hedayati graduated with her medical degree from Faculdade de Medicina de Campos in Brazil. After relocating to the United States, she performed her residency in pediatrics at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport.

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, whose mission is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Dr. Hedayati is affiliated with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall, and Medical City Denton.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

On a more personal note, Dr. Hedayati speaks multiple languages, including English, Farsi, and Spanish.
