Dr. Funny is an infectious disease specialist at Prisma Health Infectious Disease–Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. 

At Prisma Health Infectious Disease – Baptist Hospital the physicians specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of infectious disease conditions for patients in Columbia, Lexington and the greater Midlands of South Carolina. Some of the conditions that they treat include: hepatitis, infections of the blood, bone and joint, influenza, HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, and various other viruses. 

Following the completion of her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006, Dr. Funny went on to further her training. She performed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious diseases with Kennedy Health System.

A member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
