Get to know Dentist Dr. Michael Gershanok, who serves patients in New York.

Dr. Michael Gershanok and Dr. Lila Nikkhah utilize a comprehensive approach to dentistry, believing that “Oral health is part of overall health”, and they achieve that by utilizing the latest technologies available in both Scarsdale and Manhattan offices.

After finishing Medical School in Latvia, Dr. Gershanok obtained his Dental Degree from NYU followed by Residency at Montefiore Hospital.

Dr. Nikkhah obtained her Dental Degree from University of Maryland and residency at the VA in New Orleans, and has volunteered in Kenya, Peru, Cambodia and Israel.  

Both doctors are certified in LANAP protocol using laser to treat periodontal disease, and are among a very few restorative dentists that utilize lasers, chairside microscopes, 3-D Cone Beam digital radiography and 3-D scanners to provide oral care for adults and children in endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Gershanok is using the CBCT and 3-D scanners to plan, place and restore implants.

Dr.Nikkhah is also offering BOTOX treatments for esthetic and TMJ conditions as well as airway centric treatments of sleep disorders to kids and adults in improving jaw relationship, bite arrangements and esthetics using Invisalign.

The doctors have also been teaching at the Montefiore, Jacobi, and NCB Hospitals, as well as lecturing locally and abroad.

Full service Dental Lab on the premises is headed by the Master Technician – Kazimir Krivko, MDT, who graduated from the master’s program at NYU delivering the most difficult cases from high demand esthetics to complex implant restorations, utilizing the latest in digital scanning, milling and pressing technologies.
