Dr. Das is a diagnostic & interventional radiologist who is President and CEO of Excel Medical Imaging - a full-service radiology practice serving patients in New Port Richey, Florida, and the surrounding area. Excel Medical Imaging was founded in 2001 by Dr. Mehta and his partner, fellow radiologist Dr. Aruna Medara, with the intent of creating an independent freestanding radiology imaging center devoid of corporate influence, non-medical investors, and unnecessary hospital surcharges and red tape. Subsequent to the retirement of Dr. Mehta, Dr. Das has since acquired ownership of the practice, and continues to uphold the original principles upon which Excel was founded.

In 2009, Dr. Das received his medical degree through the Penn State Accelerated Program, which is a cooperative BS/MD program run by Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) and Pennsylvania State University. Subsequently, he pursued an internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, a residency in diagnostic radiology at Albert Einstein - Jacobi Medical Center, as well as subspecialty training in interventional radiology at Penn State.

Following his training, Dr. Das practiced as an emergency coverage (locums) physician, covering other radiologists around the nation. After several years, he was brought on board Excel to design and create an Interventional Radiology suite, which continues in operation today.

In his spare time, Dr. Das enjoys playing music and PlayStation, as well as arguing about the nutritional benefits of peanuts.
