Get to know Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist Dr. Lorraine E. Henricks, who serves patients in New York, New York.

Dr. Henricks, a respected child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, uses an evidence based  knowledge of biological, psychological, and social factors in evaluating and treating patients. She is in private practice in New York, New York.

She currently is on the faculty at the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the NYU Langone School of Medicine. 

Dr. Henricks trained in Adult psychiatry at the McGill University Department of Psychiatry in Montreal, Canada, followed by a fellowship program at New York University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department.

With more than 40 years of experience, she is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2018), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2011, 2014), and On-Time Doctor Award (2014, 2015).

Dr. Henricks can diagnose conditions in adolescents, young adults, and older adults,  that would otherwise be missed. More than 50 percent of Dr. Henricks’s patients are over the age of 30. 

Dr.Henricks has worked in New York City for more than 35 years and is well known and interconnected with a network of professionals ranging from social work, psychology, ADD/ executive functioning coaching, life, and career counseling, in addition to integrative nutrition and wellness program providers.
